Help Hamid
Donation protected
My name is Andrew Fox. I used to be a platoon commander training officer cadets at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
One of my officer cadets was Hamid from Afghanistan. He was an older cadet, in his thirties. His English wasn’t the best and he found the course hard. He never gave up. He wanted to serve his country, and he was a kind and humble cadet, well loved by his peers. He commissioned, and ended up teaching Afghan officer cadets at their version of Sandhurst. He was unable to escape during the Kabul evacuation.
Hamid is now on the run in Afghanistan with his family. He is well known and actively being hunted by the Taliban. He has six young children. They are living in utter terror of being caught and executed and are having to move location every couple of nights. He is still waiting for his visa to the UK.
This GoFundMe will be administered by the Sandhurst Trust to help his family settle in the UK.
