HELP HALLEY AND JESS GET A PARTNER VISA!

For those that don’t know me, I’m Kait! A long time friend of Jess' (and now Halley)!

As we all know, these love birds eloped on May 26th!

Something Jess and Hal have realized from the very start of their romance is that it is actually quite difficult (and expensive) to be together, since they are from different countries! So the newest step on their visa journey together is to apply for a partner visa, so they can stay together in Australia! I have made this page so that any loved ones of these two can donate to help them reach their goal and get the visa sorted out as stress free as possible!

Here is a little note from Halley and Jess:

"Hi everyone! We are starting our partner visa journey and on top of the fees we will need to pay, we must also prove our relationship in agonizing detail. So, you will find us spending the next few months combing through every message we have ever sent and every photo we have taken. It would mean the world to us if you could help us and donate in place of wedding gifts or money, as staying in the same place is ultimately what is most important. The fee for the visa application itself is $8,085 AUD. On top of that ,we will need to hire an immigration lawyer (everyone we have talked to who has been through this, says it's necessary for peace of mind!) which will cost anywhere from $2,500 AUD. And then just a bunch of random medical exams ($2000+) and background checks and things like that, that will add up in fees as well. We are doing our best, but some help would be really amazing. We are so thankful for our community and the outpouring of love and support we have received from everyone. We truly feel so lucky.
