My name is Isabel N., and I am from Madrid. Given the difficult circumstances and restrictions faced by people in Gaza, I am helping launch this campaign on behalf of my friend Hala.

All donations will go directly to Hala and her family to support them during this extremely difficult time and help them rebuild their lives and her home after the war.

My name is Hala Hamdi, and I am reaching out to you from the heart of Gaza. I stand before you as a young woman fighting to salvage her future and her education from the wreckage of war."I am an ambitious student with a deep-rooted passion for excelling and standing out in my field."

In Gaza, words often fail to describe the daily reality we endure. It is not just the absence of food, medicine, and clean water; it is a life overshadowed by oppression, helplessness, and the constant psychological trauma of losing loved ones. Here, we don't just face hunger and illness—we face the daily shadow of death.

I have always been a high-achieving student, recently graduating from high school with a distinguished GPA of 96.6%. I once owned everything a student needs to excel, but the destruction of our home took it all. I lost the tools that fueled my passion and the equipment essential for my university studies.

For 12 years, my father poured his heart and soul into building our home, planting every tree in our garden with love. Now, at nearly 60 years old and battling chronic illness after open-heart surgery, he watches his life’s work lie in ruins. He is burdened by a heavy heart, unable to work, and grieving the loss of the shelter he built for us.

Since October 7th, we have been displaced seven times. Our home was turned into a military outpost before being completely demolished—it is now nothing but dust. We have fled from the homes of relatives to tents in barren lands, lacking the most basic human necessities. Despite this misery—living in a tiny room crowded with my family and my sister’s children—I refused to let my circumstances stop me from graduating with excellence.

The past months have been a descent into hell. Our mental health is fragile, and hope is a rare commodity as we wait in a state of suspended life. Even if a ceasefire is reached, the scars on Gaza are too deep to heal quickly.

I am heartbroken by the loss of our memories, our belongings, and our livelihood. I weep for my parents and the children in our family who have been traumatized by constant fear.

I am writing to humbly ask for your support to help me acquire the electronic equipment I need to resume my university education. By helping me continue my studies, you are not just providing tools; you are giving me the chance to eventually support my family and rebuild our shattered lives.
