For 25 years, I have had the privilege of calling Cait my best friend. We have shared so many of life’s moments together—good times and bad, laughter, tears, celebrations, and everything in between. I never imagined that one day I would have to watch her and Wayne face something no parent should ever have to endure: hearing that their child has cancer.

Their sweet 6-year-old son, Greyson, has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and is currently in the hospital fighting this terrible disease.

Greyson is just six years old. He should be worrying about which video game he wants to play, picking up a baseball, running around with his friends, and simply being a kid. Instead, he and his family are facing hospital stays, treatments, uncertainty, and a road that no child or parent should ever have to travel.

Watching this family go through this has been heartbreaking. I wish I could take away their fear and pain. While I can’t do that, I can try to help take away some of the financial burden so Cait and Wayne can focus on what matters most—being there for Greyson and helping him fight.
