Help Graci Fight for Her Life
Our beloved Graci is facing an unimaginable battle. Diagnosed with focal pneumonia, her condition deteriorated rapidly, leading to critical complications that required her to be airlifted to Emanuel Hospital in Portland. Upon arrival, she suffered cardiac arrest and required intensive CPR for 12-15 minutes to stabilize her while being connected to life-saving machines.
Graci is now on ECMO, a machine that takes over the work of her heart and lungs, along with two other life-saving devices. While the medical team is cautiously optimistic, they emphasize that this will be a long, difficult journey. She is expected to remain on ECMO for at least a month, and for every month on the machine, recovery will take an estimated three months or more.
Her situation is incredibly fragile, but she is a fighter. Thanks to the swift actions of the Medford doctors, Graci has a chance to pull through. The specialized team at Emanuel Hospital is confident in their ability to provide her the best care possible, but they have made it clear this will be a marathon of challenges with moments of hope and heartbreak.
This crisis has placed an enormous emotional and financial burden on Graci’s family. Laura, her mom, has had to leave her job indefinitely to stay by Graci’s side, ensuring she has the love and support she needs as she fights for her life. From mounting medical expenses to travel and lodging costs, the road ahead is daunting for her family.
We are asking for your help—whether through donations, prayers, or simply sharing Graci’s story. Every contribution will go toward easing the financial strain on her family so they can focus entirely on being by her side and supporting her through this fight.
Graci is strong, but she needs all of us now more than ever. Thank you for standing with her and her family during this incredibly difficult time.
