Grace Alive Ministries and Spirit of Truth Minstries: A Day of Dignity and Thanksgiving for Our Community
This Thanksgiving season, Grace Alive Ministries in Chesterfield County is extending love and compassion to our neighbors experiencing homelessness and hardship. Our goal is to provide a Day of Dignity, giving those who are homeless the opportunity to enjoy a homestyle Thanksgiving feast surrounded by others in the community, sharing not just a meal but fellowship, encouragement, and a sense of family.
Many of our guests are in their current situation through no fault of their own, and we believe everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for. In addition to the Thanksgiving meal, we will provide:
• A month’s worth of MRE (Meals Ready-to-Eat) that require no refrigeration
• Blankets and warm clothing to help during the cold season
• Meal support for families impacted by the government shutdown, helping to lift the burden of feeding their households during this difficult time
This initiative was birthed from the heart of Dr. Rodney M. Williams, Sr., a retired U.S. Army officer and 100% disabled veteran diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, who serves as the Pastor of Grace Alive Ministries. Pastor Williams’ vision is to restore dignity to the homeless and bring comfort to struggling families in our community. Spirit of Truth Ministries (Pastor David Stephano) is also a co-sponsor of this initiative.
Absolutely every dollar donated will go directly to supporting the families and individuals we are serving. Grace Alive Ministries will cover all administrative and operational expenses, ensuring that your contribution makes a full impact where it matters most.
Together, we can remind our neighbors that they are not forgotten and that hope, dignity, and community still exist.
