Help Give Gunner the Chance for a Better Life
Donación protegida

I recently posted on Facebook about how suddenly and unexpectedly I have been put in a very difficult position.
Someone has abandoned a dog by dumping him with me and I have been doing all that I can to rehome him, but I am finding that rehoming him may not be the best option and I don’t believe he would do well in a shelter.
His name is Gunner and he’s a super special dog. He is only about a year and a half old & I really wish I could take him myself (I love him so very much), but I already have 2 pups of my own, I live in my camper, & I’m moving across the country in about a month.
Gunner was unfortunately abused and neglected on and off by his previous owner and I had to cut ties with that person as he was also abusive toward me.
While I have been doing all that I can to try to rehome him, it has become clear that he has some very anxious behaviors that are making things difficult & that also make me worried that he wouldn’t do well in a shelter.
I’ve been feeling hopeless about the situation & then I recently found out about someone (a friend of a friend) who takes in dogs like Gunner, gives them formal training, and then rehomes them. But the fee is quite high ($3000) for me, so I’m reaching out to see if I can get a little help affording it.
If you are able, can you please help give Gunner the chance to have a better life?
Thank you for listening to my plea.
Best Wishes to you all.
