Help getting us back on our feet our boat sank

Hello everyone, my name is Stephanie Miranda I'm creating this gofund me fundraiser because on December 20th at 6PM I lost my boat. The outcome could've been much worse and we could've lost our lives, thank god that wasn't the case and we got rescued by an amazing group of people, can't thank them enough and will forever be grateful that they saw our flares go off. As most of you know we commercial fish for a living, our boat was our livelihood and now all of that is gone. Tried calling in a few favors to see if anyone could help us at least salvage our motor but nobody's willing to help except one person. He has been such an amazing help and we don't even know him personally so a big thank you to him! The salvage company's asking for $10,000 and unfortunately we can't afford that plus by now the boat is gone somewhere in the gulf stream. We set off on Sunday 12/19/21 to go fishing. Done it a million times before, went to Fort Jefferson the Dry Tortugas. The weather was great and on the second day of our trip 12/20 the weather turned to sh*t excuse my language... We were catching fish left and right and the bite was on fire... We kept fishing filling up the cooler and running out of space so we cut the trip short and headed home when the weather literally changed in an instant... We were getting destroyed, beat up... We kept behind our buddy's boat whom was leading the way home. Helping us by breaking through the waves. We kept our bow practically at his stern so our boat wouldn't get beat up as bad... That obviously wasn't the case and 4 miles from Rebeca Shoal (53-54 miles off key west) our friend Kyle who was also on the boat with us, felt the floor beneath us start to wobble, I then yelled at Aniel and the boat literally started to take in water, floor was cracked down the middle and in 4 other areas of the floor... The floor split down the middle and it cracked in multiple areas, water was rushing in! Scariest situation of our lives! Thankfully we all reacted quick, we set off the bilge pump, I set off the epirb, aniel started shooting flares and kyle was grabbing the most valuable things such as the paperwork to the boat, our phones, we almost left the truck keys behind... The whole situation was so scary, things were happening so fast! but thank god for those 6 people that came to our rescue and my brother and my mom who spent the $600-$700 dollars to buy us an epirb. Anyone who has a boat please make sure your flares are up to date and if you can buy an epirb do so! spend the money and buy the biggest/best one epirb sells. The situation could've been worse the boat could've sank instantly but thank god its called the unsinkable for a reason... RIP to my boston whaler the Trap Queen and thank god he was watching over us. We lost everything but we didn't lose our lives and that's what matters the most! if anyone could help us, even with a dollar donation we would truly appreciate it! thank you for taking the time and reading our story.
