Our dad, Gerardo Anaya, is the heart of our family and the kind of man who never hesitates to put others before himself. Whether it’s showing up for family, helping neighbors, or giving back to the community, he’s always been the one lifting others up. Now, he’s the one who needs our help.

Two years ago, our dad’s Type 2 diabetes led to kidney failure, and since then, he’s been fighting through the exhausting routine of dialysis just to keep going. Despite it all, he’s faced every day with courage and selflessness—still thinking more about others than himself.

We recently received life-changing news: our dad has finally been matched with a kidney donor. His transplant could take place as early as December of this year. This is his chance to live free of dialysis, regain his health, and continue being the family man and community supporter he has always been.

With this blessing comes a heavy financial burden. Between surgery costs, hospital bills, medications, and recovery expenses, we are facing more than we can manage on our own. That’s why we’re reaching out for help.
