'The Cards We're Dealt' is the second outing from Yorkshire based young film duo Digno Films.
- Exploring the lengths two teenagers would go to survive in a war torn Britain, TCWD deals with themes of childhood, loss, innocence and adapting to harsh environments.
- Any donations would go towards funding the overall production of the short, covering costumes and set, but more importantly would allow us to convey our message. More and more we see war, destruction and trauma happening all over the world. Its scary. As young film makers we feel compelled to explore how these horrific events can affect anybody, so we are bringing it to a familiar setting in our film, allowing our audience to understand the tragic effects of war felt across the globe.
