Help Fund Kobe Germain's Thesis Film - Video Store

Hey! My name is Kobe Germain, I am a Senior filmmaking BFA student at Hofstra University and currently working on my senior thesis film.

The film follows Kegan, a poet and dedicated employee of "Dave's DVD and Video Rental," struggling as he comes to terms with the store's closure.

This story spawned from my experience working in production since I was a little kid. I have been around sets, film, and/or learning production my whole life and finally finishing up my education feels like I'm leaving what I know. That fear of heading into the unknown is something everyone can relate to, but the way my identity has become intertwined with what I'm leaving is why I needed to tell this story.
