On May 29th, Ian was in a car accident.  He was transported to Mills Memorial Hospital, where a variety of medical imaging showed  fractures in C2, C3 , C4 and C7.  He was then sent by Air Ambulance to Vancouver General Hospital's Spinal Unit, where he is now.

He has sensation in all four limbs but little to no mobility, although, thankfully, there is daily improvement.  It is predicted that he will have a number of weeks at VGH and then be moved to GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre for a few months.  

 

We're raising money to fund:

 

1. Medical costs that are not covered by medicare.

2. Pay for family  to travel to and stay in Vancouver and be Ian's "hands" and support while he's in the hospital.

3. Other incidentals to support his recovery
