Help Fund an International Missionary Journey

Late in 2018, I made one of the most important decisions I ever would: I decided to become a loyal follower of Jesus. Flash forward six and a half years and God has led me to make another commitment that will change the course of my life. Joining sixty other faithful Christians, young and old, I will be embarking on Revive Eastern Europe (RevivEE)!

What is RevivEE?

Six years ago, a team of Christians got together to dream up a way to support their brothers and sisters abroad. Their focus was to try to answer the many needs of isolated churches across Europe, and after months of brainstorming, they formulated the project that, six years later, I am embarking upon now.

Revive Eastern Europe is a ten-month program organized with assistance from the European Missions Society (EMS). Now on its sixth year, the current RevivEE team consists of sixty-two disciples from all sorts of countries (Eastern Europe included), who are all sorts of ages, in all sorts of life stages. The sixty-two of us will be split across five countries, including Croatia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, and Moldova. Why am I joining RevivEE?

To understand why I am so excited to commit the next ten months of my life to RevivEE, I have to take you back to Summer 2020. I was reading Acts very slowly and very personally. The more I learned about Paul's life, the more awestruck I was. In particular, his bold declaration in Acts 20, that his life was “worth nothing” to him, and his singular, missional focus captured my imagination and became the direction I began to set my life in. Pursuing that path would bring me to Portland, Maine the next year. I moved across country to not only serve the campus ministry, but also to join the New England School of Missions (NESM). Akin to a graduate program for missionary training, NESM afforded me the opportunity to learn from preeminent missionary minds, men who had gone and lived the same life of church-planting that I was dreaming of. The combination of intense, focused, in-class teaching and the practical realities of serving a real campus ministry laid within me the rich foundation of training I needed to even consider international missionary service.

Having graduated from NESM in 2024 and serving the campus ministry for three years, I began to seek for any open doors to the European mission field, and that is when RevivEE came up on the radar. I could not resist an opportunity to get across the ocean and begin to follow my dream for European missions. At its core, my earnest desire is to serve disciples and help make disciples abroad- RevivEE is an actualization of both those aspirations.
