Help Fund 35mm Print for Senior Thesis Film

We are raising money for Eva Reznik.

In January of this year, we shot Eva's senior thesis film on super 16mm film. The budget of the film exceeded expectations greatly and we no longer have funds to invest in the post-production process.

We want to create a 35mm print of the film so that we can show the film in an organic medium and at its best possible quality, and project it for our friends, family, and classmates at a reputable art house cinema.

The cost of the 35mm print is a bit less than $1000, and we are looking to raise additional funds to alleviate the unexpected hurdle of going $1000 over budget post-wrap.

About the Film:

Our Dear Love explores conflict and complexity in a romantic relationship. Nathan is a painting student, and Love is his muse, who poses for his projects. This particular painting process sparks a passionate discussion about beauty, jealousy, and loyalty, resulting in a liberating outburst of emotions for both of the characters. The film tastefully explores the female body as a landscape for art, and the relationship between a painter, a model, and a painting.

About the Director:

Eva is a 22-year-old Russian and Jewish filmmaker, currently residing in New York. She is a senior in the film conservatory at Suny Purchase. She explores themes of human relationships, psychology, love and sex in her work. Eva is also a painter and visual artist. After graduation, she will continue to write, direct both narrative and documentary work, and work in Production.
