Restarting after the hurricane

We are not ones to reach out for help but sometimes you have to humble yourself and accept it. Our home has been severely damaged due to hurricane florence. A lot of our roof came off and water poured in our home for days. Most of the ceilings have collapsed. The walls the floors and all of our belongings are soaked and covered in black mold. All of our clothing is ruined as well as our furniture. We do have home owners insurance but we have a $9600 deductible to satisfy before they cover anything. We applied for FEMA and were denied because we have insurance. I am of course stressing more then normal because I am due with our 2nd son in only 9 weeks. I had most of the items needed for him and they were all ruined as well. What is most important is that my family is safe and we will get through this! My husband has returned home to try and start fixing everything for us. The money that we raise will go toward our deductible and anything our insurance company doesnt cover. If there is anything left after we would love to be able to pay it forward to someone else in need! We appreciate all the love and support we have gotten so far.
