On July 29, 2017, Kristen arrived home from an out-of-town trip to find her front door wide open, the house broken into and robbed, and set on fire. Her car was stolen, along with all her valuables, including her grandmother's heirloom jewelry, inside the home. Much of what remains inside the house that wasn't stolen, is badly damaged from the fire and soot.

Kristen is now left with next to nothing, except the clothes she had packed for her trip. Kristen did not have renter's insurance, so nothing within the house will be covered. She needs our help more than ever to start the process of rebuilding. Along with the cost to replace all of the stolen and damaged items, she is left without a home and will be staying with friends for the time being. 

Kristen would give anyone the shirt off her back if they were in a time of need, and has helped so many people, including myself, when needed.
