Help for families displaced from the Ukraine

Hi,

We have been helping families that have arrived in Bulgaria seeking salvation and help from the atrocity of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

We have housing sorted for several families and more ready for those arriving in the coming days; we are asking for help with providing food, clothes, medical supplies and toys for the children. Every penny raised will be spent on the family's welfare, and we shall post updates daily for everyone to see on Facebook and here.

With husbands and sons, fathers and grandfathers between 16 and 60 not being allowed to leave Ukraine,

 

Many women face tough times with their children/grandchildren, alone in a strange country with little or no understanding of how they will get through this shockingly sad situation, fearful they will never see their loved ones again. We can and will support them and provide all we can to ensure they have a safe place to stay and food to eat, and we have also offered wifi and sim cards to contact families that remain in the motherland.

 

it's a tall order we understand, but it's heartbreaking to witness. However, we shall do our very best to make this situation as easy as possible for the good people of Ukraine.
