Help for Chris Albritton & family
Donation protected
Chris was on his way home from work last Friday morning, October 5th, on his motorcycle. Seventeen minutes after leaving work, a guy turned in front of him, causing him to wreck his bike. He had numerous broken bones in both hands, one hand was crushed, hip was broken, lung was bruised..... numerous, numerous injuries. He was in surgery for about 7 hours last Friday and is going to be having surgery on his knee this coming Monday. Chris has no health insurance benefits at work and the guy that hit him apparently only had liability. The family lives in Quitman, Texas and the hospital is in Tyler, about 35 miles away. However, Mother Frances Hospital, where Chris was flown to after the accident, states that after Monday’s surgery, he will be transferred to the VA hospital in Dallas, 94 miles away. There’s no word on how long he will be in the hospital and he is going to be in for an extended period of recovery due to the extent of his injuries; anywhere from 3-6 months at least. The family will need money to pay expenses (house payments, utilities, travel back and forth to hospitals and doctors) during this time. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated!
