We are a veterans organization and therefore all donations are tax deductible. All donations to Foot Hills Detachment 1164 are used for equipment for funeral and memorial details by the playing of taps and volleys for our fallen veterans and first responders, volunteer uniforms, maintenance on our 2.5-ton military truck used for parades and transporting emergency commodities as needed for our community members in need of assistance, our veteran/family camping programs, office supplies and our awards/certificate programs for local community business who assist us with our mission and other activities that directly support our mission and local community. The IRS designated Foot Hills Detachment 1164 as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit corporation with an Employer Identification Number (EIN) of 32-0107954. The sole purpose of a 501(c)(4) organization is to promote the common good and general welfare of the community, operate exclusively to promote social welfare, and not benefit any private shareholder or individual.
