On September 21st, Adam Hairston, a dedicated Houston firefighter and EMT, was the victim of a horrific hit-and-run motorcycle accident on Highway 6 in Rosharon, Texas, near Savannah Parkway. A black pickup truck struck him and fled the scene, leaving him critically injured on the road.
Adam was rushed into an emergency 4-hour surgery for multiple fractures and reconstructive repair. Since then, he has undergone another major surgery to repair his leg, hand, and wrist, and faces a long road ahead toward recovery. His body is covered in road rash, and he will soon begin intensive physical therapy as part of a long and challenging journey to regain his strength and mobility.
As a first responder, he has spent years serving this community — running into danger to save others. Now, he’s the one who needs help. Because of his injuries, he’s unable to work, and household income has been significantly reduced while medical and recovery expenses continue to grow.
We are raising funds to help cover:
Ongoing medical bills and future procedures
Physical therapy and rehabilitation
Home recovery equipment and medical supplies
Lost income during his recovery period
Every donation, no matter how small, helps lighten the load and brings us one step closer to getting Adam back on his feet.
If you can’t donate, please share this page to help spread awareness and assist in finding the driver who fled the scene. Your prayers, kindness, and support mean more than words can express.
With gratitude,
