Hello! I’m Trevor Najera, a independent filmmaker. I’m making a documentary about legendary drummer Thommy Price, known for his work with Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Debbie Harry (Blondie), Blue Öyster Cult, Scandal, and many others. Through interviews with his iconic colleagues, we explore his influence on the New York rock scene of the '80s, his impact on the entertainment industry, and his life today.

At the heart, it's a story about an unsung hero giving his body in service of the music and the fans. What it means to be a survivor.

We’ve completed 80% of our interviews, including legends like Billy Idol, Joan Jett, Steve Stevens, Tom Lord-Alge, Patty Smyth, Ricky Byrd, Thom Panunzio, and many more that we’re keeping under wraps for now! We’re entering pre-production for the narrative storylines and dramatized sequences that will bring these stories to life, adding rich visual context to the tales we've uncovered.

What will the money go towards?

Without giving too much away, your support will help us recreate key moments—from trashed hotel rooms to pivotal music deals, and other juicy highlights from our interviews. We’ll also be producing a narrative short to visually enrich the world we’re documenting.

Specifically, funds will cover crew, talent, wardrobe, food catering, equipment rentals, editing, and all the inevitable challenges that come with independent film-making. And with a project of this scale, we’ve still got plenty of hurdles to overcome.
