Friends of FEJ,

Thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes for Lucien and Gina during this difficult time. All of your kindness and offers to help have deeply touched the both of them. Within the last few days Lucien has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is currently undergoing treatment in Charlottesville, VA and plans to return to Haiti following the treatments.

As many of you know cancer treatments are extremely costly. Without having health insurance in the U.S. it is difficult to begin to keep up with all of the medical bills that have started to and will continue to come in for the Duncan Family.  We are asking for you to consider a donation to help with the astronomical costs associated with treatment. 

For many of us, Gina and Lucien have been a big part of our children’s and family’s lives and at this great time of need, the FEJ Board would greatly appreciate any donation you are willing to make.  Lucien has been instrumental in helping to save the lives of so many children. Their family’s mission and sacrifice to help those in need is something of utter inspiration. It’s now our time to stand up. It’s our time to help someone in need that has given hope to so many.
