My name is Lina. I am 23 years old, a mother of a 3-year-old boy named Mohammad, and the wife of Hamada Al-Madhoon— a telecommunications and sound engineer from northern Gaza.

Our home was completely destroyed.

My husband’s business — DJ and sound equipment for weddings and events — was also destroyed.

We lost everything.

A Sniper Shot Changed Our Lives Forever

Nearly two years ago, my husband was shot by a sniper.

The bullet entered from the left side of his pelvis and exited from the right.

The damage caused:

He urgently needs further surgeries and continuous medical treatment.

During a temporary ceasefire, he was evacuated to Egypt for treatment.

He had to leave me and our son behind in Gaza.

We are separated.

We are struggling.

We are trying to survive.

Our Current Reality

No home

No stable income

Extremely high food prices

Limited clean water

A child growing up in war conditions

Warm clothes, milk, and daily food are not guaranteed anymore.

Despite his injury, my husband is trying to teach Arabic online to support us. But his health condition limits his ability to work.

It is not enough.

We're starting this fundraising to cover:

It represents family reunification.

It represents dignity.

We are not asking for luxury.

We are asking for a chance to rebuild our lives.

My name is Hamada. I'm Lina's husband.

Our aim with this campaign is to help our families in their everyday struggle in Northern Gaza. My son and wife, her family, and my own mother and siblings. All of them are still in Gaza. We aim to meet their needs and alleviate their great suffering.

For my part, I'm also trying to work through Arabic lessons online. If anyone wants to learn Arabic, I'll be there for each student in the lecture so they can benefit as much as possible. The contact is in the images attached.

My name is Irene Gómez. I live in a village in Southern Spain.

I've been in touch with Hamada since september 2025.

Together with friends and relatives, we've been supporting Hamada, his family, Lina´s family and their community in Gaza since then.

We started fundraising through that campaign and also locally for a generator that could put a water pump into operation and supply water to the neighborhood. And we got it!

Now it's time to support them in their everyday life and in their search of a safe place to live and grow their child, because the situation is far from being solved, and they are struggling to afford and get essentials: medicine, food, a proper shelter.
