Eric Estrada
February 1, 1993 — August 17, 2025
Logan, Utah

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Officer Eric Estrada, whose end of watch was on August 17, 2025, at the age of 32.

Eric was born on February 1, 1993, to Maria Elena Estrada and Palemon Estrada in Logan, Utah. From the very beginning, Eric was full of life, joy, and kindness. He graduated in 2011 from Mountain Crest High School and went on to live a life centered around love, service, and family.

On July 27, 2014, Eric married the love of his life, Brittney, in Hyrum, Utah. Together they created a beautiful family, raising Luka and Cienna, who were the light of his world. Eric’s family always came first, and he cherished every moment spent with them—whether at home, traveling, or enjoying their favorite adventures together. Mexico held a special place in his heart, and he loved sharing its beauty with his loved ones.

Eric had a gift for laughter and joy. He always knew how to make others smile, and his bright spirit lifted everyone around him. Friends and family will remember his love for pickleball, riding his bike, CrossFit, grilling, mowing his lawn, doing his hair, and the simple pleasure of walks with his “main man” P.O. His favorite song was Bubbly by Colbie Caillat, which perfectly reflected his warm and uplifting nature. His infectious personality and easy laughter made every gathering brighter.

He was nicknamed “Chipz” after the actor Erik Estrada. Eric’s energy and kindness left a lasting impression on all who met him. He was selfless, always looking out for others and willing to help in any way he could. He will always be our hero.

Eric’s legacy is one of love, service, and compassion. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, loyal son, mama’s boy, and dedicated officer who put others before himself. His smile, his laughter, and his heart will forever live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.

Eric is survived by his wife, Brittney; their children, Luka and Cienna; his parents; his brothers and sisters; nieces and nephews; and many family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Though his time with us was far too short, Eric’s light will never fade.

Obituary lovingly written by Eric's brother Jesus Estrada.
