Hallo allemaal,

Wij zijn de familie Yilmaz uit Den Haag en willen graag jullie hulp vragen voor onze zoon Engin Ali (10 jaar), een jonge, gepassioneerde motorcoureur met een grote droom: ooit racen op wereldniveau.

Hoe het begon

In 2022 stapten wij via Race-Kids in de wereld van het motorracen. Wat begon als één keer per maand oefenen op een minibike, groeide al snel uit tot een ware passie. Engin Ali bleek talent te hebben, maakte snelle progressie en besloot zich volledig op het racen te richten. Sindsdien trainen en racen we bijna wekelijks op circuits in Nederland, België en Frankrijk. Dankzij zijn gedrevenheid en inzet heeft Engin Ali in 2025 de KNMV NK Junior Moto Racing – Junior E klasse B gewonnen. Een geweldige prestatie en een prachtige afsluiting van zijn minibike-periode.

De volgende stap

Na dit succes werd hij in oktober 2025 geselecteerd door het Molenaar team om in 2026 deel te nemen aan de Molenaar NSF100 Cup, een belangrijke stap richting zijn droom om professioneel racer te worden.

Om op dit niveau mee te kunnen doen, is er echter veel training, materiaal en reisbudget nodig. Motorsport is helaas een dure sport, en tot nu toe hebben wij als ouders nagenoeg alles zelf bekostigd.

Waarom crowdfunding

We werken hard aan het vinden van meer sponsors, maar dat kost tijd. Daarom hebben we besloten om een een crowdfundingactie te starten: om Engin Ali te helpen blijven racen en trainen, en hem de kans te geven zijn talent verder te ontwikkelen.

Elke bijdrage, groot of klein, helpt ons om te blijven trainen en racen op landelijke en internationale circuits, materiaal en veiligheidsuitrusting te onderhouden, en te reizen naar wedstrijden in binnen- en buitenland.

In 2025 hebben wij de Stichting Engin Ali Racing Team opgericht. Alle donaties komen rechtstreeks op de rekening van deze stichting terecht en worden uitsluitend gebruikt voor Engin Ali’s raceactiviteiten.

Hello everyone,

We are the Yilmaz family from The Hague, and we would like to ask for your support for our son, Engin Ali (10 years old) — a young, passionate motorcycle racer with a big dream: to one day race at the world level.

How it started

In 2022, we entered the world of motorcycle racing through Race-Kids. What began as a once-a-month practice on a minibike quickly grew into a true passion. Engin Ali showed great talent, made rapid progress, and decided to fully focus on racing.

Since then, we have been training and racing almost every week at circuits in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France. Thanks to his dedication and commitment, Engin Ali won the 2025 KNMV Dutch Junior Moto Racing Championship – Junior E Class B. A fantastic achievement and a perfect way to close his minibike chapter.

The next step

After this success, he was selected in October 2025 by the Molenaar Team to compete in the 2026 Molenaar NSF100 Cup — an important step toward his dream of becoming a professional racer.

To compete at this level, however, requires significant investment in training, equipment, and travel. Unfortunately, motorsport is an expensive sport, and so far we as parents have covered almost all of the costs ourselves.

Why crowdfunding

We are actively working to find more sponsors, but that process takes time. That is why we have decided to start a crowdfunding campaign: to help Engin Ali continue racing and training, and to give him the opportunity to further develop his talent.

Every contribution, big or small, helps us to continue training and racing at national and international circuits, maintain his equipment and safety gear, and travel to races both within the Netherlands and abroad.

Engin Ali Racing Team Foundation

In 2025, we established the Engin Ali Racing Team Foundation. All donations go directly to the foundation’s account and are used exclusively for Engin Ali’s racing activities.
