Help Emma Grace Access Life-Changing Therapy
Donation protected
Emma Grace is an 8-year-old who has been diagnosed with a rare type of seizure disorder called LGS.
When she was born, she had oxygen deprivation that caused white matter loss (brain damage). She is legally blind, has cerebral palsy, is non-verbal, and is a spastic quadriplegic. In her short life, she has had many surgeries, procedures, and tons of hospital stays. Her immune system is not great, so she catches everything. Because of this, she is unable to attend school and stays with her mom 24/7.
We have been told that stem cell therapy could help improve her quality of life and help repair some of the damage, all while boosting her immune system. Quality of life means a lot to us, and we want to do anything we can that could potentially help her.
After speaking to the doctor, we were told that she is a prime candidate for stem cell therapy and would need 2 treatments. Each treatment is $14,500, which would be a total of $29,000. This therapy is done in Jacksonville, FL, where we will have to stay a few days.
We plan to try and do several fundraisers to help with these expenses. If anyone would like to donate, we would greatly appreciate it.
