My sister Emily has suffered with congestive heart failure since she was 26 years old, April 2016. She reached the end stage of her congestive heart failure on April 6th, 2025. Since then, she has been in CVICU battling one complication after another. She was able to get the procedure on April 25th to get an LVAD, which we thought was the answer, but she needed extra support on her heart by an RVAD (which was supposed to be temporary). Ever since that procedure, she was on 24-hour dialysis for weeks, losing circulation to her limbs, forming blood clots, and getting infection after infection. She has two children who are teenagers, a dog!  She passed away in Piedmont Atlanta, which is 2 hours away from home. Any donation would help.
