Help Ember Get Vital Vet Care in Texas
Donation protected
Hey everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read our story again. This isn’t easy for me do by any means but all of your support the first time was so overwhelmingly kind, and greatly appreciated.
As most of you know, Ember was diagnosed with lymphoma a few months ago. While in Ohio Ember’s established vet had everything under control while I was employed. Since moving back to Texas, she’s declined. Two days ago she began vomiting, having diarrhea, she’s not eating or playing like normal. I’m asking for donations to establish care with a vet here in Fort Worth, as well as covering the baseline testing needed to evaluate her blood and organ function. Ultimately, with her cancer we know there is no cure, I just don’t want her suffering unnecessarily, these tests will determine how she’s doing overall with her current treatment, as well as letting us know if her cancer has spread to the point where she’s suffering or impeding her quality of life. I’ve had this wonderful baby for 8 years and while it would absolutely crush me to make the decision to let her go, it would be selfish and inhumane to keep her around longer just for her to be in pain or agony.
