Help Elise after tragic accident
Donation protected
February 6 2018 while Elise was driving along the 97B highway in BC, early morning with her furry best friend, Boomer, a driver of a pickup truck decided to make a terrible decision to pass a semi-truck and hit her head on.
Thankfully, despite the seriousness of the accident, Elise survived, unfortunately Boomer did not. The force of impact was so strong that it broke his back and he had to put down. In the aftermath, Elise's minivan was totaled and because she's self employed, this has a huge impact on her livelihood. She is a very talented tile setter and now because of the circumstances won't be able to work for quite awhile.
Elise is in an immense amount of physical pain as well as emotion trauma from the horrific accident and losing her best friend. Elise is a single Mum of 2 young teenagers and because she's self employed and needs a physically healthy body to work, the financial impact of all of this is severe. She will not have any EI to cover her and what ICBC pays won't even cover the cost of rent let alone food.
We're hoping to help Elise through this time to meet her basic expenses. Our goal is to raise enough to help her pay her rent over the next 6 months, because without help she will not have enough to pay her rent or any other expenses. We really appreciate any and all contributions to help her recovery.
