Help ECR Band Students Pay for New Uniforms!
Being a part of the ECR Marching Band is an incredible experience! Students learn lessons that they'll take with them throughout life.
El Camino Real Charter High School has recently voted to change their mascot from the Conquistadores to the Royals. Because of this there is a lot of rebranding that is needed. One of those things is new uniforms for the marching band!!
The current uniforms the marching band uses resemble a Conquistador(last used in 2018). Obviously, with the new mascot change these won't work anymore. I have been in talks with Stanbury uniforms and they have made us an awesome design for our new uniforms! The only thing needed for these uniforms right now is funding.
The turn around time for uniforms is around 190 days and the goal is to have funding as soon as possible so these uniforms can be ready for Fall 2022. There is currently 51 students in the ECR marching band and 21 colorguard. However in 2019 we had 68 in marching band and around 31 in color guard. COVID has obviously had a small impact on our numbers but I am planning to order 100 uniforms to ensure we have enough for growth in the program.
If you can give $5,000, please do! If you can give $5, please do! Every donation is helpful.
For details on how you can make your donation tax deductible, please reach out to the band director, Kevin Thurow, whose email can be found on the school's website.
