Help ease the burden for Kim and her family
Don protégé
As a survivor of breast cancer in 2018, Kim is no stranger to being a fighter! Unfortunately, she’s being tested again and this time with stage 4 colorectal cancer. It’s unimaginable and something nobody should have to go through, let alone after a previous cancer diagnosis and harsh chemo treatment program.
The cancer has caused blood clots in her lungs and lesions on her liver. She was rushed to the hospital in the beginning of January and has been back and forth since, undergoing liver biopsies and inserting a chemo port. The cancer has already metastasized to her liver and it’s going to be a difficult chemotherapy journey, especially finding the cancer so late, at stage 4.
Not only has this been tremendously difficult for Kim, but of course, it has been so hard on her family who love and adore her. Both Kim and her husband John have been missing and will be missing days of work to attend appointments and to deal with the symptoms, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to manage the overwhelming hospital bills and treatment, which have already surpassed $100,000. No family should have to worry about medical bills during such a physically and emotionally draining time. We want Kim and her family to be able to focus on her health and spending precious time with her.
Her family is asking for any and all donations to help with Kim’s medical bills, treatment plans, and to help pay for bills while Kim and John are unable to keep up with a steady work schedule during this time. Kim is a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend to all those around her. Everyone is rooting for her and knows she is stronger than she should have to be. Any and all help is so greatly appreciated.
