Shortly after graduating high school and turning 18, my little brother Diego was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer. Despite his diagnosis, we have hoped and fought alongside him to get better and beat this illness.

He had dreamed to be able to study in college in order to help provide our family with better opportunities; he just started working on his bachelor's when he was diagnosed as a freshman. However this disease has taken this this away from, as he’ll never be able to achieve what he’d worked & dreamed so much for his life. Alongside this, he will never get to experience a normal life, adult life, and life experiences he had looked so forward to living through. He will never travel, the best we can hope is help him experience what little he can from the hospital, to give him food he likes, video games, electronics to allow him to work on his projects, and leave behind a legacy in his name.

We hope for him to be able to live a little longer and experience some more now that, despite all the doctors' efforts, the cancer has advanced.
