Early this fall, our mom went in to see her doctor and eventually into the hospital for severe abdominal pain. After several weeks of testing, she was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer that has metastasized to her liver. As anyone can imagine this news was heartbreaking and devastating to our family. We truly empathize with others going through similar experiences. While we continue to try to process this, we are focusing on combining our strength and fighting this TOGETHER! Mom’s mental strength, determination and will to continue living is remarkable!! She is an amazingly strong woman, and we love her beyond words. Mom has started a very aggressive chemotherapy treatment this week and we continue to research and educate ourselves on complementary treatments to help re-build her immune system, minimize side effects and enable full body, mind, and spirit healing. With the out-of-pocket costs associated with hospitalization, scans, chemo, all that is required for her 24/7 everyday care, and the fact that she hasn't been able to work, we are asking for your help to make sure we can get her the comprehensive care she needs to continue to fight and heal. Our mom is truly the most selfless person with the biggest heart, and now it’s time we give back to her. We are beyond grateful for any donation you can give no matter how big or small.
