As many of you already know Denise, the wife of Coach Robin Gilstrap and mother of Carrie Sutherland was diagnosed with stage 4 signet ring cell colon cancer last April. This is the most aggressive non-curable form of colon cancer and it has spread to her peritoneal cavity. She has  taken several rounds of chemo and numerous medications to help her battle with cancer. She was recently accepted as a patient at The Cancer Centers of Atlanta. Carrie has been traveling with her out and back to Atlanta over the past month and a half and has been out work to help take care of her. Denise has been in Atlanta now for over a week now. They have placed a picc line in so she can get some nourishment and have been drawing fluid off her lungs so she can breath easier. I have known this family for 29 years and love them dearly. Carrie is a long life friend and anything i can to help them during this time I will. Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to the family to help with travel expenses, lodging and other needs while they are away and when they return home.
