Help Deliver Essential Supplies to NC Towns

Donation protected
Hi there. My name is Austin Muhs and I am the head of the 999 Rescue Team. Please see our FB page with all of our previous rescue team deployments here for reference. https://www.facebook.com/999rescueteam/

Also we are partnered with Americans Lifeline Emergency out of Nebraska. So if you want a reciept; you can donate directly to them you can do that as well here.. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/tdGtcysoUhBetBdZ/?mibextid=qi2Omg

We don't have a bunch of fancy social media stuff; because we don't really do publicity etc. The last storm we raised actual donations for was a long time ago. So the bottom line is, these towns in NC are completely leveled and they need supplies badly. We have tossed in what we can on our own as a team; but this is just beyond what me and my team can do out of pocket. They need hundreds of gallons of fuel per day in some of these towns; not to mention food, water, medical supplies. At least for the next week or so until the people can either move out of the area to family in other parts of the country. Or the like.

Most of these smaller towns like Burnsville and Swananoa; (sorry if I killed the spelling) are literally 80 percent destroyed. They look like a war zone as you can se in the videos. It's not just Asheville that got hit; the smaller towns are worse, and some are still cut off. And have received no help. So we are trying to get supplies for the Burnsville fire dept; so they can go deeper into the destruction zone this week.

So that being said; we had over 300 requests to help from locals on our ticketing system. And now we are sorting through who is still alive; and delivering the news one way or the other to the families on our list. This process will take a week or two; so we are asking for your support!

What your donations will be used for (Receipts will be posted/provided as we work on this situation.) We will drop them in the story after we publish this...
-Gas for people who need it for generators until they find better housing or get power.
-Food and baby formula.
-Diabetic friendly specialty food.
-T4 motor oil and batteries for the Burnsville fire dept.
-Sharps medical boxes
-Benadryl for the mosquito issues.
-First aid supplies.
-If there is a need we will also help pay for our crews gas to help transport people out of the disaster zone as well.

We have more crews coming up from Florida; but more help is needed more urgently by some of these small towns. One man walked himself down a mountain at like 70 years old just to escape. All major medical requests have also been turned over the the local PD/fire, as we know we won't be able to physically get to alot of these request locations just yet; and we dont want anyone slipping through the cracks. Helicopters are being used for transport where needed as well; and we can call them if need be etc...

Currently Burnsville in particular is only accessible by helicopter and side by sides so it takes a lot of work to get anything in there. So the time and effort is a bit arduous but there are more people trapped in the towns above, so this is work that has to be done.

Here are some videos of our crews on the ground, and the aftermath on my channel.... (It's a mostly animal rescue channel as I do that as well)
