It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you on behalf of my very good friend, Dean a 43 year old husband and dad, who has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. This devastating diagnosis came halfway through the construction of his family's dream home—a project he had worked so hard for over the past 20 years.

For two decades, Dean poured his heart and soul into building homes for others, saving and working tirelessly with the goal of creating the perfect forever home for his wife and children. He had a vision of completing this home and providing a place of comfort and security for his family—a dream they all looked forward to.

Unfortunately, his diagnosis has stopped him in his tracks. Due to his illness, Dean is no longer able to work, and his wife has been unable to work as well, as she’s been caring for him during this incredibly difficult time. The funds that were once available to complete the house have now run out, and the future of their dream home is uncertain.

Dean would never ask for help. In fact, he has always been the first to lend a hand to anyone in need, whether it was helping friends, neighbours', or even strangers. Now, it’s our turn to give back to him when he needs it most.
