Please Help Me Bring My Wife Daniela Home

My name is Richard Landin. I am an American citizen and Daniela Joly Serrano Landin's husband. My wife and I got married on February 8th, 2025. She's an incredible woman who studied to be a petroleum engineer and did social work in Colombia, helping and supporting youth to prevent them from falling into gangs and drug use, and rehabilitating drug addicts. She came here from Colombia seeking asylum and is currently in the appeal process as well as in the process of filing for status adjustment through marriage when ICE detained her on May 12th, 2025, without a final order of deportation. It's been very hard on our family, myself and Daniela most of all.

She has no criminal record in Colombia nor the U.S. They came to our doorstep at 8 am that Monday and lured her out the door stating that her ankle monitor was malfunctioning and they needed to check on it. After confirming the ankle monitor was present and functioning, they took her into custody and did not state where they were taking her, but luckily we were able to track her down and she is currently held at the Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, GA. Our attorneys are currently setting a bond hearing to have her released from custody.

I am fighting to keep my family together and bring my wife back home. It has been unbearable knowing that my wife is in a detention center and being treated like a criminal when she has committed no crime and was going through the correct processes for permanent residency and citizenship. We will have a bond hearing set for next week and I hope I can get her home before her birthday on May 28th.

All donation will go to paying for her bond and court fees to bring her home as soon as possible. Please help bring my wife home, I'm begging for your help. I can't stand the thought of her in that prison another day. I'm tired of hearing her sound more depressed everyday that passes. I'm tired of hearing all the ways she's mistreated in there. I miss my wife.
