Our dearest friend, Dana Shackleford, the strongest person we know, is finally on the path to recovery after a long and challenging journey. On Monday, June 9th, Dana received the life-changing gift of a kidney transplant!

As a dedicated nurse, she continued to work full-time, even bringing her daily dialysis kits to work and administering her own treatments. She is truly an inspiration to us all, facing each day with remarkable resilience and a quiet strength.

Dana is not one to ask for help, which is why we, her friends and loved ones, are stepping up for her. Now, as she embarks on her recovery, Dana will be off work for some time, facing the mounting costs of monthly bills and medical expenses.
