Help Dale & Chelsea Save Their Family Home

Hello.... My name is Dale Dallmann and also soon-to-be wife of 18 years, Chelsea Mancini. For those who don't know us, we are regular hard-working people who have had the joy of raising 3 beautiful daughters, all of whom are strong adult women now, and a beautiful grandson that we wouldn't trade for the world. It's not been easy at all, but I feel like we did a good job with all of them.

I come to post this today in need of prayers and hopefully a miracle. We are looking for help to prevent us from losing our home and our property due to foreclosure. In 2008, Chelsea, her mother, and I applied to get our first home for a $60,000 loan, including a trailer and our property. For 17 years, we continued to grind this payment down with the help of her mom. She was our foothold while we raised our girls and helped us vastly, and we couldn't appreciate it enough.

Fast forward to 2025, and since we lost her mom to breast cancer 5 years ago, we took it on and have been able to get the loan down to $27,000. During that time, a year and a half ago, I also suffered a bad heart attack where my heart was damaged and needed two stents put in. So, I continued to try and keep everything paid up with my wife, with inflation growing every day on everything, because we couldn't afford not to.

Last January, more bad news. I was fired from my job of over 14 to 15 years because I was not able to work weekends. Even though since her mom's death 5 years ago, I didn't have to work weekends then. So when I said I could not go back to working weekends, he stated that I could no longer work there. That finally put me under.

As of last week, the mortgage company, Vanderbilt Mortgage, is attempting to foreclose on my property and take our only home sometime in the beginning of April. We are currently around $5,000 behind, including the legal fees for our upcoming court date, unless we can get it caught up and have them drop the foreclosure. But to pay that much for 17 years and then have them try to take it because of a bad stretch of luck hurts after this long.

I went through National Debt Relief, both attempted to get loans (we have prior loans already due to other bills needing to be paid), and were denied by all. We have both prayed on this, and we have nowhere else to turn. We've exhausted every source we know, and I even wrote our Senator asking for guidance. I have since taken on part-time work, and between that and Chelsea working, and a few generous, sweet individuals who have already reached out to us, we have raised some money. But trying to pay everything, including power, which Duke power is highway robbery, insurance, and loans, we are having a tough time just trying not to lose our home.
