Help Dakota Davis and family

Hello everyone, as many of you know my boyfriend, Dakota Davis, was in a major car accident on December 8th, 2022. Dakota was driving home in his semi when a truck collided into him, on the highway, causing him to be ejected out of the semi. He was rushed to the hospital via ambulance where the doctors informed us he had a concussion, broken teeth, fractured spine and tailbone, he has multiple broken ribs as well as a broken hand and foot. He's had several surgeries; diaphragmatic hernia, splenectomy (removal), pelvic/hip repair, knee repair, tibia repair and he will need additional surgery in the near future. He has spent a week and a half in the hospital so far, once he is discharged he will be recieve inpatient care in a rehabilitation facility where he will re-learn to walk. It has been a very traumatic and emotional time for Dakota, myself, our 4 year old daughter and all of our family and friends. Dakota has worked extremely hard for many years to be able to start his own trucking business, he spent endless amount of hours building his dream semi and was finally becoming proud and happy with his work. Sadly his semi was completely crushed in the accident and is no longer drivable, it breaks my heart to see his hard work, dedication and the love for his business go down in flames in a blink of an eye. Dakota has a long road of recovery physically and mentally ahead of him, due to his injuries he is not able to find work until he is fully healed. Although this is a very difficult time we are so greatful that Dakota is still with us.
