Hello everyone,

I'm not someone who typically asks for help, but life has taken an unexpected and heartbreaking turn for my family. My dad, a disabled amputee, has been battling serious health issues for quite some time. Recently, his condition took a dramatic turn for the worse he is now suffering from acute heart failure and kidney failure, and just this morning, he unexpectedly suffered a minor stroke.

As his daughter, watching him go through this has been incredibly painful especially while I’m only four months postpartum. I wish I could do more for him, but with a newborn and limited resources, I’ve reached a point where I simply can’t do it all on my own.

This extended hospital stay has completely upended his life. He is no longer able to work, which means he currently has no income to cover even his most basic needs, such as housing, personal bills, and proper self-care.

I’m asking for help not just to get us through this difficult moment, but to give my dad a chance at stability and dignity once he leaves the hospital and begins the long road to recovery.
