Help with Medical Bills for Emergency Gallbladder Surgery

On January 3rd, I had to take my spouse to the ER due to severe abdominal pain. He's been putting up with abdominal pain for about ten years, but he would always shrug it off. This time it would not let up and was much much more intense.

After numerous labs, exams, and getting transferred to different hospital campuses, they finally told us that his gallbladder was inflamed and had to be removed. He had the surgery and after almost a week at the hospital he was discharged.

He's healing well, but now we are left with the bill. We are thankful that we qualified for a discount, but the sum total is still something we're unable to pay on our own at the moment.
