My sweet neighbor, Courtney Grimaldi unexpectedly lost her 43 year old fiancé Jason McDonald on Wednesday May 29th, 2019 to a heat stroke after working outside in 100 degree heat. She was 40 weeks pregnant when this happened. They have three children, Gavin (12) Caitlynn (8) and as of TODAY Axel - She had a c-section earlier today (6/7/19) You can imagine the heartbreak of having to return home from having major abdominal surgery with a brand new baby, care for two older children & unexpectedly organize a funeral for the love of her life.


In addition to this tragedy, her sweet baby boy was born with a cleft lip and will have surgery in four weeks at Scottish Rite. As you can imagine, the medical bills will come rolling in very soon. Jason was the only source of income for the family since Courtney was put on bedrest at 25 weeks pregnant.

This family needs a miracle. Every little but counts.

If you cannot donate financially, In addition to funds to pay for the funeral, pay medical bills & keep up with regular household expenses, they are also in need of these baby items:

-Diapers: Size NB, 1, 2 & 3
-Wipes
-Bottles
-Bibs/burp cloths
-Baby Boy clothes: 3-6 month & 6-9 month
-Meals that can be frozen and/or cooked quickly
-Any snacks/groceries
-Basic Household items/toiletries
-Any other contributions of baby & household items that you aren’t using anymore
-TIME - any stay at home moms or retired women willing to come help out around her house, cooking, cleaning. She’s gonna need it all.
