On June 12th, Finnigan the beloved border collie, was rushed to the emergency vet, where we found out he had an obstruction in his intestines. Meghan, Finnigan's dog parent, had the troubling decision between a $12,000 vet bill, or saying goodbye to Finnigan. Naturally, she chose to save Finnigan's life. Finnigan is now recovering from his successful obstruction surgery.

I created this gofundme because Meghan is not only a wonderful person, she is a graduate student, and therefore cannot afford a $12,000 emergency surgery out of pocket.

About Finn: Finn is an amazing companion and protector. Every day he works his hardest to scare away the menacing mail man and make sure Meghan gets plenty of outdoor time. He is a soccerball connoisseur and makes sure to herd all guests into the same room when Meghan has friends over. He is truly a delight, and everyone who knows Finn is so glad that he is alive to see another day.

About Meghan: Meghan is a truly delightful human being who does everything and anything for her friends and family. We are crushed to see her burdened with this expensive vet bill, and any little contribution helps. Meghan is an extremely talented early-career scientist who studies the behavior of threatened bumblebees.
