My Grandma, Cindy, had emergency brain surgery on April 7th. She has two tumors on her brain, and they were able to remove one, but for the other one, she will need chemo and radiation. She is going to a rehab around April 14th to learn how to walk again. Thankfully, her other motor skills were not greatly impacted. Cindy would take care of her husband, my Grandpa Frank, 24/7. Since Cindy had this surgery, she is unable to take care of him anymore. Frank has a serious skin condition, he has many wounds on his arms and legs and they do not heal, she constantly cleans and wraps the wounds multiple times a day. They will most likely get sent to an assisted living facility, and this was not the outcome we were expecting. Funds are very tight for these two since their only income is social security.

Please donate however much you can. The funds will go to her medical bills since she has been in the hospital for a week. The funds would go towards their meals and hopefully towards a 24/7 onsite nurse that could come to their house. Lastly, the funds would go towards Cindy's radiation and chemo costs. This was a very unexpected impact that has affected our whole family, and my mom, Marty, my brother, Zorran, and me, Isabella, are mainly all they have. Thankfully, Cindy’s best friend, Karen has been helping a lot with driving and taking care of Frank currently. Karen’s daughter, Laura is also providing support as much as she can. We go to see them in Vero Beach around once every two months. We are very close to them, and it is heartbreaking seeing what they are going through.
