Help Chris & Lucie to recover from Birch Bay fire

My name is Dean Haskins. My nextdoor neighbor's home (Birch Bay) burnt down on March 6th. While there is a lot of attention given to that brown cabin where the fire originated, unfortunately, there was severe collateral damage done to the home & contents of our good friends directly adjacent to that cabin.

Along with my nearby caring neighbors, Dawn & Taylor, we are devastated to see how this has affected Chris (and Lucie!) Rothberger. They are a fantastic & hard working couple that have lost everything due to this fire that happened while they were away in Canada.

The border restrictions kept them away from their BB home until a few months ago. They had invested heavily in to totally renovating their "home" here over these past few months and unfortunately, their home is now "totaled". The fire destroyed all of their new upgrades & personal possessions

& they are now staying in an RV as they maneuver through this period of shock & loss.

Chris & Lucie have no idea that we are posting this GF Campaign. These two fine people are victims that could not have foreseen this event & many of us are so sad that we feel compelled to do this.
