My name is Chris Damian. I'm an attorney, writer, and gay Catholic who for more than 10 years has been working to share the stories and perspectives of LGBTQ+ Catholics and ex-Catholics. I've covered harmful approaches to Catholic theology, how to think more creatively and positively within the Church, how to process harms from within the Church, and a variety of other topics. For the last few years, I've put a lot of my focus on addressing the prevalence of conversion therapy and "ex-gay narratives" in the Church, most recently in recording a series of videos to be released this year.

As I continue this work, I'm looking to raise money to improve some of the equipment I use, especially for recording interviews and conversations. This fundraiser is to support those equipment purchases. I've worked on the creation of this video content for free because I believe this work is important. But I'd love it if others who are interested in this work would help me fund my next steps!

I'm still working through what exactly I will purchase but in the interest of transparency I'll share what I am currently planning to purchase:
