When I think of Cheri, I think of smiles, laughing hysterically, and being deeply concerned that causing her to laugh would cause her to suffer an asthma attack, which she always threatened.
Lately, Cheri has not been laughing as much as I would like. A myriad of health problems have bogged her down, and while she continues to hold her chin up high and while she strives to keep a cheerful demeanor, she needs our help. She won't ask for it. I'm asking for it on her behalf because I love her and want to hear that laughter for a long time to come.
The thing is, Cheri needs cardiac rehab immediately. She needs high-quality care. Of course, like so many people, she can't afford what she needs right now. But together, we can make it happen.
