Reading Eagle Article featuring Casey
If you live in Mount Penn/Pennside, you've probably encountered Casey at some point - she's everywhere! She's coaching, involved in the community, or out in the neighborhood watching everyone's children. She gives everything she can to everyone she can.
Recently, Casey was informed that the oil heater in her home has a severely cracked heater exchange. If not fixed as soon as possible, the potential exists that Casey's home, where she lives with her mother and two children, could burn down.
I would be infinitely grateful...Casey would be infinitely grateful...if the community that Casey pours herself into on a daily basis could rally together and raise money for the cost of updating her home to gas heat, as well as replacing the water heater.
In April of 2018, upon suffering multiple concussions during her work at CHOR (the Children's Home of Reading), Casey was placed on work restriction...only to be completely removed from work in October. The injuries Casey has sustained have caused irreparable brain damage; severe migraines are one of the many symptoms Casey struggles with daily. Already suffering from MS, Casey's resilience is being tested yet again.
Casey and her family need help. It would be amazing if the community that she loves so much could give back to her. Without a stable form of income, the cost for these necessary repairs is impossible to finance.
Thank you so much for any monetary help you can provide to this well-deserving family!
