I am happy to announce that I am going to be heading to Tanzania in East Africa! In November, I am going to be attending a Mission trip with my company, ConvenientMD. What will my peers and I be doing you may ask?

-Assist with building a surgical ward.

-Build handwashing stations for families, chicken coops, installing earth boxes, etc.

-Support maternal health measures, attend deliveries if any come in; provide care to RCP clinic patients, etc.

-Help with access to the clinic, nutrition, and are provided other resources such as a hand-washing station, chicken coops, as well as health workshops.

-Provide & support over 40 different workshops offered on things like breastfeeding, brain development, sanitation, STIs, etc. Workshops are created by medical professionals and given in Swahili and English.

** I will need help fundraising for this trip as it will help with my expenses for flight travel, vaccines, insurance, and room fees while I am in another country. I will be leaving November 4th, and returning on the 11th. My goal is to raise $5,000.
